Today's polls continue a 2-day uptick for Obama. Hopefully, just noise and the last 3 days before the election will go back to showing McCain's momentum!

10/28 Daily Tracking polls update
I just created this blog so I can "publish" some of the graphs I've been working on for my own interest. The chart shown above is the October averages of the daily tracking polls (Rasmussen, Gallup-traditional, Gallup-expanded, IBD/TIPP, GWU/Battleground, Zogby, Diageo/Hotline, and Research 2000).
The average candidate support for Obama and McCain are shown in blue and red, respectively, and go with the left vertical axis. The average margin is shown in green and is read on the right vertical axis. If you click on the figure, you can see it in larger format.
Note the sharp tightening over the last 4 days of polling. As you can see, though, similar tightening has happened a few times during October but has not been sustained (so could perhaps have been just sampling variation). Watch the polls for the next several days to see if this trend continues. I will try to post updates daily until election day.
